Altec chippers join rental market
Altec Industries, Inc. continues to expand its tree care product line with the recent introduction of the DC610 chipper.
The Altec DC610 caters to the rental market, with a user-friendly design that can be easily towed behind a smaller vehicle and requires little maintenance.

A robust design comprised of a strong tubular frame and heavy-duty steel fenders provides support for all parts of the chipper. State-of-the-art safety features make the DC610 ideal for operators looking to tackle tough projects. The 6- x 10-inch controlled-feed chipper incorporates electronic controls with diagnostics capabilities -- the patented Altec “Panic Bar” system -- which provides operators a dedicated stop mechanism for the feed system independent of the feed control bar.
