STIHL chain saws feature M-Tronic system
The MS 362 C-M and MS 362 C-MQ are the latest additions to the STIHL chain saw line.
The MS 362 C-M combines optimal torque, power, weight and reduced exhaust emissions in a 59.0 cc professional chain saw. This saw is ideal for felling, bucking, thinning, firewood cutting, storm clean-up and clearing.
The MS 362 C-M features the innovative STIHL M-Tronic engine management system that optimizes engine performance for operating conditions such as temperature, elevation, fuel quality and dirty air filter. The system's electronic ignition timing and fuel metering provide quick acceleration, even on a cold start. Reduced exhaust emissions and reduced fuel consumption save on fuel costs.This technology provides a simplified starting procedure, reducing the chance of flooding.
Other chain saw features include:
- Advanced anti-vibration system reduces operator fatigue.
- Pre-separation air filtration and HD-2 filter allow for greater efficiency and longer run times between filter maintenance.
- The STIHL MS 362 C-MQ features STIHL Quickstop Plus (Q), an additional chain braking feature designed to stop the chain in less than one second when the rear handle is completely released.
- A wrap-around handle on the MS 362 R C-M increases maneuverability and comfort level for operators.
For larger trees, the STIHL MS 660 MAGNUM is the choice. This chain saw’s power-to-weight ratio gives users more power. It boasts a 15 percent increase in engine power over the MS 460 with only a marginal increase in weight.
