Heavy Duty Ride-on Trencher for Small Places

Ready for tough and tight utility jobs, the redesigned Ditch Witch RT80 ride-on trencher is a midsize powerhouse. Its enhanced features include a compact profile, high-load axle capacity and turbocharged Tier 4 Deutz diesel engine for improved productivity.

RT80A powerful and versatile mid-range machine equipped for heavy-duty trenching in small places, the RT80 uses a 74.5 hp Deutz Tier 4 engine. The compact design and axle capacity give the machine a static load rating of 39,000 lbs. The trencher has a tight turn radius and is equipped with a three-speed, shift-on-the-fly ground drive control. The machine features a standard cruise control system that senses changing load conditions and automatically adjusts for uninterrupted performance.

“The RT80 ride-on trencher is right-sized for tough utility tasks in tight conditions,” said Andrew Schuermann, product manager, trenchers, for the Ditch Witch organization. “Operators will appreciate the way it powers through heavy-duty trenching and plowing jobs, yet is compact enough to easily install conduit and cable in tight job-sites.”

Attachment selections include a centerline trencher, sliding trencher, vibratory plow, earth saw, combination trencher/plow, microtrencher, backhoe and reel carrier. In addition, removable side panels provide easy access to all engine compartments and maintenance points, advancing machine uptime and reducing maintenance costs.
