Bandit Industries Rolls Out New Track-Mounted Stump Grinder

Bandit's Model 2550 Track stump marks the company's entry into track-mounted stump grinders in the 40-horsepower category, combining the Model 2550XP self-propelled stump grinder with the versatility and go-anywhere mobility of a track-mounted machine.

Bandit 2550 Track stump grinderBandit Sales Manager Jason Morey said the Bandit-designed drive system uses turf-friendly rubber tracks while providing low ground pressure for delicate lawns and surfaces. "It is easy to transport, easy to maneuver, and designed for backyards as well as the back woods.”

Featuring the same 44-horsepower diesel engine and a 20” diameter Revolution cutter wheel from the standard 2550, the Model 2550 Track delivers the all-terrain capabilities and superb flotation found in larger track machines. It's light weight makes it easy to tow, while the track undercarriage provides exceptional maneuverability

A standard swing out operator's station places all machine controls to the side of the machine, giving operators a clear view of the work area. A wireless radio remote with tether back-up is a popular option for those who prefer to be located away from the machine while grinding.

All Bandit stump grinders feature solid-chassis construction using continuous steel welds for durability. The Model 2550 Track features a beltless hydrostatic direct-drive, delivering smooth, direct power to the cutter wheel while reducing maintenance downtime and costs associated with traditional belt drive models. The Revolution cutter wheel comes standard, delivering cutting power and chip containment for easy clean up.
