Wacker Neuson Rolls Out New Loaders, Excavator

Wacker Neuson has introduced a new line of skid steer loaders and compact track loaders, and a new 2-ton excavator, to the North American market.


SW 24The loaders have been designed and built from the ground up using on-going feedback and advice from contractors who use these machines, the company says, to offer performance and durability.

The initial offering consists of four models:

SW 24 = radial lift skid steer load offers 2350 pounds rated operating capacity @ 50% and a lift height up to 125 inches
SW 28 = vertical lift skid steer loader, 2800 pounds ROC@50%, lift height up to 134 inches  
ST 35 = radial lift compact track loader, 3500 pounds ROC@50%, lift height up to 125 inches
ST 45 = vertical lift compact track loader, 4500 pounds ROC@50%, lift height up to 134 inches.

The new loaders are powered by a 74.5-hp Perkins Tier 4 Final turbo charged diesel engine. Standard features on all models include the choice of ISO or H-pattern controls, two speed transmission, and a cab designed for the operator with the latest ergonomic design. The line will include a variety of packages and prices ranges to fit the North American market.

wacker ET 20The model ET 20 excavator has a maximum digging depth of 8-ft, 10-in and a breakout force of 4226 lbs. The redesigned cab includes a unique double door design that allows the operator to enter or exit the machine from either side. The integrated details in the operator’s station include plenty of legroom, simple control layout, and an excellent 360-degree visibility. The unique 4-position front window makes it easy to vent the cab. For added versatility, a control pattern changeover is conveniently located inside the cab

The ET 20 is powered by a Tier 4 Final Yanmar diesel engine that delivers 17.2 net horsepower at 2,200 rpm for powerful digging, fast cycle times and quiet operation. Also enhancing production is the telescopic undercarriage that can be extended from 39-inches to 51-inches that allows for greater lifting power and stability.
