JLG's New Push-Around Mast Lift
JLG Industries, Inc., has introduced a new push-around mast lift, the 830P. Using hydraulics it lifts operators to a working height of 14 feet and offers a 29-in. by 39-in. platform. It has a lightweight design so it is easy to push into position, and heavy-duty, auto-lock wheels to provide a secure base.
The new lift offers an attractive alternative to ladders and scaffolding, said Paul Kreutzwiser, JLG Industries global category director, scissors/verticals, and gives "workers the ability to use both hands on the job rather than needing to maintain three points of contact.”
The JLG 830P has 440 pounds of capacity.Because of its light weight it is a good choice for finish work and sensitive floor applications. It’s also an affordable alternative to conventional scissor lifts. The lift requires no setup time; a flip up and self-supporting platform and neatly packaged components allow easy serviceability.
