JLG's New Heavy-Duty Telehandler
JLG Industries introduced its G15-44A telehandler – the largest telehandler in the JLG line – during the 2015 Rental Show, Designed for the North American market, the JLG G15-44A has a 15,000-pound capacity.
Some of the other features of this heavy-duty telehandler include:
- 31-foot horizontal reach
- 18-inch ground clearance
- 20-mph maximum travel speed
- 61-second boom cycle time
The machine has the tightest outside turning radius and the lowest gross vehicle weight in the class, the company reports, so it is agile compared to other machines and productive on the job site. It is powered by a 130-horsepower Tier 4i Cummins 4.5L diesel engine.
“This machine is strong throughout the entire load chart,” said Brian Boeckman, JLG Industries’ global product director for telehandlers. “At the end of the day, features only matter if the machine is on the jobsite and being productive. The JLG G15-44A will deliver unwavering reliability, so rental houses can maximize their ROI.”
