Side-by-side UTV Yamaha Motor Corp. USA, introduces the 2019 Wolverine X2 two-seat side-by-side (SxS) utility vehicle that offers the best balance of capability, comfort and confidence in a vehicle assembled in the United States, Yamaha sources report. A 847cc twin-cylinder engine drives the Ultramatic continuously variable transmission that produces more than 60 foot-pounds of torque, as well as Yamaha’s dependable, driver-controlled On-Command four-wheel drive (4WD) system. The Real World Tech On-Command 4WD switches between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD, and a fully locked differential 4WD. It has electric power steering and precise throttle response with Yamaha’s Chip Controlled-Throttle (YCC-T) drive-by-wire system that can be used to limit top speed to 25 mph. It also has an all-new 600 pound-rated dump bed with a new automotive-style one-hand operated tailgate, combined with 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. |
