Life-saving automatic braking for rollers

Sakai America introduces the life-saving Guardman auto brake assist system to the North American asphalt compaction market, a first for this machine category.

This technology works by detecting objects or personnel behind the roller and only in cases of imminent collision stops the machine without the operator needing to intervene.

Guardman has been successfully field-tested in the Japanese market for years and is available to order on Sakai 300/500/R2H-4 series compactors built in 2023; Guardman for the SW884/994 rollers will be available early 2024. Save lives, prevent severe injuries, and protect your assets with Guardman from Sakai.
