Dinolift issues safety alert bulletins

Dinolift recently released two safety alert bulletins related to its 230VT and 220/280/92/72 RXT MEWP models.

According to the Dec. 12, 2019 release, the company noticed a potential defect with the 230VT outrigger frame welding. According to the findings, there is a possibility of a partial weld on the laser-welded seam in outrigger frame.

The safety alerts affect 230VT machines with serial numbers 230011 through 230048. These units must be withdrawn from service immediately, the company says.

Dinolift currently is working on corrective measures. After finalized tests, it will proceed with corrective actions in order to return machines to operational condition.

In November 2019, Dinolift issued a notice regarding the 220/280/92/72 RXT articulated arms welding. The company's findings suggest that welded areas in articulated arms and in related load-bearing components may crack and could lead to structural failure.

All 220/280/92/72 RXT machines with all serial numbers must be withdrawn from service immediately, the company says. Dinolift currently is working on corrective measures.
