Electric power cutter
The ICS 536-E power cutter delivers high-quality cuts efficiently, safely and quietly with fumeless indoor/outdoor use and compatibility with most generators.
The new electric 536-E power cutter from ICS Diamond Tools offers the professional-grade cutting capabilities long associated with the ICS brand: square corners, deep cutting, no overcuts and safety – only now with electric power.
Designed to slice through concrete, stone, masonry and ductile iron, the 536-E uses a 4.8 hp motor to deliver industrial cutting capacity while eliminating the need to mix fuel and oil or maneuver heavy hydraulic hoses. |
Designed to slice through concrete, stone, masonry and ductile iron, the 536-E uses a 4.8 hp motor to deliver industrial cutting capacity while eliminating the need to mix fuel and oil or maneuver heavy hydraulic hoses. It runs on 220V, making it compatible with most generators. It’s also a quieter tool to use when compared to gas and hydraulic models.
Thanks to its lighter weight and ergonomic design, the 536-E gives users more cutting control and provides a great solution for tackling obstructed or small-size openings. Also, as with other ICS power cutters, this power cutter is easy and safer to use when cutting in the trench, ultimately reducing risk of kickback.
“The 536-E power cutter allows professionals and contractors to diversify their arsenal of tools with an electric option that delivers the power and quality they not only need for the job, but also expect from ICS as an industry leader and innovator,” says Keith Christiansen, president of ICS and the Concrete, Cutting and Finishing division at Oregon Tool.
The power cutter’s other benefits include:
- Versatility: With the quick switch of a drive sprocket and guidebar, the power cutter operates FORCE3, FORCE4 and PowerGrit guidebars and diamond chains.
- Fume-free: The convenience of plugging into the electrical distribution box means there isn’t a hydraulic power pack making noise or a gas saw generating exhaust.
- Easy chain-tensioning: There’s no need to remove a side cover or any other piece to tension the chain. A chain-tensioning screw on the back of the saw makes it easy to quickly adjust tension during use – and proper tension, along with water pressure (20 psi), helps maximize chain life.
