MiniTrencher announces its latest trenching innovation in its GeoRipper line.
Due to an increased demand to develop a battery-powered trencher, MiniTrencher has been eager to meet the challenge. “We wanted to find a solution for our customers that are digging in enclosed spaces like under decks, in crawlspaces and basements. They shouldn’t have to worry about inhaling fumes from a gas-powered engine,” says JJ Harris, general manager, MiniTrencher.

The new battery-powered GeoRipper GRMX16 kit is a handheld mini trencher can be adapted to a Milwaukee MX Fuel 14-inch cut off saw. This zero-emission GeoRipper can be used in enclosed or confined spaces with limited air flow. The company is also introducing a new wide digging chain that can create a trench two to four inches wide. T
he new accessory wide chain fits on all gas-powered GeoRipper Series6, Series7 & Series8 16-inch and 20-inch models.
