The new Third-Party Transport functionality from MCS gives rental companies better visibility of when, where, and how equipment has been delivered without relying on returned paperwork from a third-party haulage transporter weeks later.
Third-party transport companies are alerted by email when a new job has been allocated to them; these can then be sent to a specific driver who can access the MCS Mobile solution to complete the job. At delivery, third party drivers can now take site photographs, add delivery notes and time-stamped signatures, all instantly stored in MCS-rm with PODs automatically generated.
The MCS Resource Planner has become an integral part of its mobile apps connecting a rental company's engineers, drivers, operators and more to the depot manager to bring the whole rental process together. The resource planning features include map views of allocated and unallocated jobs, telematics integrations and real-time job progress reporting.
