Precision grader

The new G-109 from SharpGrade takes advantage of the compact track loader’s inherent stability and maneuverability to precision-grade with unparalleled ease and efficiency, sources report.

The G-109 has in impressive range of motion with the blade able to grade as wide as 109 inches or as little as 66 inches with the blade articulated and the wings closed.

Suited to machines in the 75 to 90 horsepower range, the G109 is ideal for large flat work, road, foundation, curb and sidewalk prep, arenas and landscaping. The G-109 has in impressive range of motion with the blade able to grade as wide as 109 inches or as little as 66 inches with the blade articulated and the wings closed.

Like all other SharpGrade grader and box blade attachments, the G-109 stands head and shoulders above the competition for durability and reliability. Featuring SharpGrades patented sealed, shielded and lifetime-lubricated QuadRod linkage and HardiLube bushes, they are designed for maximum uptime and minimal maintenance. Deviating from conventional grader blade design, the outboard-mounted cylinders reduce cross coupling to a minimum, and with no center pivot delivered the most rigid blade in its class. The ability to grade forward and reverse makes every pass a precision grading pass.

It features an adjustable hitch plate ensures perfectly level installation with the boom rigid on the lower stops, an underslung walking beam reduces wheel scuff in turns, pivoting rear blade to cut, carry, trim, spread and finish in one pass in either direction, all while reducing product segregation with the tallest curved moldboard in its class.

The front chassis can be retracted and lowered without the operator from taking his or her hands off the joysticks. With the push of a button, the operator can raise and lower the front wheel assembly, enabling them to grade incredibly close to foundations and curbs and to fit into confined areas. IT can significantly reduce the amount of hand finishing work required. Hydraulically actuated side wings are designed to cut and trim, with rounded wing edges to prevent damage to curbs and walls.

Pre-made brackets and harnesses are available to simplify the installation of most 3D systems, including Topcon MC mobile. SharpGrade’s QuadGrade 2D control system can be operated from an on-board display, or wirelessly using a mobile phone or tablet. An optional Aligned Sonic Tracker can be attached to either side of the machine for exacting accuracy for grade matching or string line work, maintaining cross fall even when the blade is articulated.
