The APT Whip Hose Assembly offers an added level of operator safety and its ergonomic features help operators handle the tool more comfortably. The Whip Hose acts as an extender to the tool, so users can operate around the job site more freely.
“When we look to a whip hose, two big things come to play,” says Andrew Mayer, national sales manager for APT. “The first is operator safety. Every tool under the APT umbrella come with unique safety features. The whip hoses bring an added level of protection to the operator by distancing the air and the tool from its air supply to limit vibrations.”
The whip uses a single wire-braided hose helps increase internal strength, while the rugged external hose resists wear. It also features hydraulic-type crimp fittings for added strength and durability.
“The second, is user ability and durability,” says Mayer. “With the added in-line oiler, operators can get through the day easier. The oil is an added lubricant to help the tool run more smoothly and limit the wear and tear of the equipment.”
The six foot long whip hose attachment helps operators move more freely and features a universal fitting on the supply end and a protective spring covering on the swivel end that offers an added level of protection when operators need it.
