Anti-Blank Fire hydraulic hammer
The HydroRam HK220-ABF hydraulic hammer with Anti-Blank Fire is built for rental fleets wanting more hammer uptime.
RJB Hydraulic hammers has redesigned the HK220-ABF HydroRam hydraulic hammer with Anti-Blank Fire as a standard feature.
Having ABF as a standard feature on the 220 series hammer means that is can easily match up with rental yard excavators in the 200-250 class range. |
Anti-Blank Fire (ABF) is a critical feature for rental fleets as operator experience varies with each rental. This feature prevents the operator from engaging the hammer unless the tool is compressed against a physical object.
In the past, rental fleet hammers would have excessive wear and breakage as operators sometimes had misfire incidents, which severely wears the hammer’s internal components that can sometimes cause severe service incidents and significant downtime for hammers without this feature.
Having ABF as a standard feature on the 220 series hammer means that is can easily match up with rental yard excavators in the 200-250 class range. Several of these newly designed hammers are being ordered with the expectations of being deployed in rental fleets around the U.S.
ABF features can also be found in other Hydro Rams from 2,000- to 14,000-pound class.
