Bomag now offers two reversible-plate compactors designed for paving stone compaction.
The Bomag Stoneguard base plate is designed to prevent the excessive breakage rate of paving stones, which can be as high as 30 percent when compacting with conventional plate compactors. By preventing edge and paving block damage, BOMAG reversible plates with Stoneguard increase working speeds by up to 30 percent, while significantly reducing operating costs.

Contractors can choose from the BPR 35/60 and BPR 60/65D plate models featuring Stoneguard. The BPR 35/60 offers a 24.8-inch compaction width and operating weight of 547 pounds, while the BPR 60/65D delivers standard 25.6-inch width and 1,014-pound operating weight. These models compact large slabs and final paving blocks as well as prevent damage to surrounding structures.
