New Footings Trencher from Vermeer
Vermeer's new FTX25 footings trencher is a stand-on, track-mounted trencher built to dig footings up to 26 inches deep and up to 12 inches wide for residential concrete slab installations. The FTX25 platform is based on the proven Vermeer compact utility loader (mini skid steer) platform.
A stand-on operator’s station offers excellent visibility to the footing trench while providing the operator a comfortable working platform. It offers two boom lengths — 20 inch or 26 inch.. A variable-position boom can be offset up to 2 inches outside the track undercarriage.
The FTX25 features a 25-horsepower (18.6 kW) Kohler EFI gas engine for enhanced fuel efficiency and engine responsiveness. An overall machine width of 36 inches with 7 inch tracks or 40 inches with 9 inch (22.8 cm) tracks allows the Vermeer FTX25 to fit into tight jobsites more easily than a compact excavator.
