Mid-Frame Radial-Lift Skid Loaders From Gehl
Gehl is introducing its mid-frame R Series radial-lift skid loaders, an all-new, three-model line - the R190, the R220 and the R260. Each offers an enhanced operator station with an integrated digital display, improved visibility, pressurized cabs, Tier IV engines and a high-powered hydraulic system.
The R Series radial-lift skid loaders fall into the large-frame category. When equipped with optional counterweights, the rated operating capacities range from 2,110 lbs. on the R190 to 2,780 lbs. on the R260. Lift heights reach up to 120.5 inches on the R190 and 123 inches on the R220 and R260.
These large-frame loaders come equipped with emissions compliant Tier IV Yanmar engines that incorporate DPF (diesel particulate filter) technology. This engine technology is environmentally sound and does not require fuel after-treatments, such as urea. With maximum torque ratings from 173 ft.-lbs. on the R190 to 206 ft.-lbs. on the R260, these machines are equipped with the power needed to tackle demanding jobs.
A selectable self-leveling option provides a switch in the cab that lets the operator choose when self-leveling should be used, helping match machine performance to the application.
The R Series skid loaders come equipped with high-powered auxiliary hydraulics with excellent flow ratings and precision controllability. Achieve flow rates from 31.5 gpm on the 68.4 hp R190, to 35 gpm on the R220 and R260 with the high-flow configuration. The R220 and 260 are 70.7 hp machines.
The state-of-the-art operator’s compartment includes a new side-folding restraint bar and armrests with multiple adjustments; joystick and hand/foot control towers are adjustable with mechanical or air-ride suspension seat options for comfort. A cab-forward design and lowered rear towers enhance visibility to the bucket edge and rear of the machine. The optional pressurized sealed cab enclosure, with sound reduction material and a rear-mounted air filter, provides a cleaner, quieter, climate-controlled working environment.
There are three control options; T-bar, joystick, and hand/foot. Auxiliary hydraulic controls are located on the joystick in all configurations for easy access. A fully-customizable digital display provides coolant, fuel, battery, environmental, engine regeneration information and other features in real time. Pressure-relieving hydraulic couplers make attachment changes simple and safe.
