Controlling the performance available to individual drivers of your Polaris GEM electric vehicles is now easier than ever. The new Speed Key Kit by GEM electronically limits vehicle speed when the owner is not available to monitor operation.
The kit features an alternate key which governs vehicle speed at either 10, 15 or 25 miles per hour, allowing you to choose the best rate of speed for the task. The kit, priced at $299.99, is available for 2016 and newer GEM models. Dealer installation is required.

GEM’s quiet electric power also offers low-cost, low-maintenance driving, averaging just $.03 per mile to operate. It can be driven on streets in most states with a speed limit of up to 35 mph. GEM is versatile enough to be driven on a variety of outdoor surfaces including, sidewalks and grassy areas. Because it’s electric, GEM can be driven indoors as well.
