ASV Holdings Inc. introduces the new RT-25 Posi-Track compact track loader. Featuring similar dimensions as its more powerful cousin, the RT-40, the RT-25 serves as an economical alternative for contractors, rental centers and homeowners working in tight spaces. Its size makes the loader the industry’s smallest sit-in compact track loader and is a safer, more productive alternative to walk-behind and stand-on mini loaders, ASV Holdings sources report.

John Deere G324 skid steer loader

Mid-frame models
The new John Deere G-Series mid-frame skid steer and compact track loader offer a powerful tool for jobs of any scale. The 320G and 324G skid steers and the 325G compact track loader offer low daily operating costs, peak productivity and maximum uptime. The new mid-frame models round out the full line of models available from John Deere. The models fall into the 69 to 74 horsepower range to deliver increased performance and higher pushing power. All three models are capable of loading a 10-foot sidewall dump truck or hopper with their hinge pin height of 10 feet, 6 inches. John Deere sources report the units have industry-leading breakout forces and auxiliary flow that provide superior attachment performance, while optional ride control and bucket self-level reduce material spillage and make for a smoother ride over rough and uneven terrain. These mid-frame models offer the same popular features as their smaller and larger G-series counterparts, including proven Yanmar FT4 engine systems. Flexible control choices allow contractors to choose between standard manual foot and hand controls, ISO joystick controls switchable between ISO- and H-patterns and performance package options for adjusting drive system response, boom and bucket speeds, or for setting creep mode on demand.

Case TV450 compact track loader

Large compact track loader
The new Case TV450 compact track loader has  10,610 pounds of vertical lift with a rated operating capacity of 4,500 pounds at 50 percent tipping load. It is the largest Case compact track loader that features 9,188 pounds of breakout force, optional high-flow (3,450 psi at 39.5 gpm) and enhanced high-flow (4,000 psi at 35 gpm) hydraulics for high-power attachments. It is available in standard mechanical (H pattern) controls or electro-hydraulic controls with H and ISO pattern interchangeability, as well as optional mechanical hand and foot controls. The Case EZ-EH electro-hydraulic controls provide adjustable speed and control sensitivity. It meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that only requires diesel exhaust fluid.

Smaller compact track loader
Kubota Tractor Corporation adds the SVL65-2 to its compact track loader line, further diversifying its construction equipment line. The model is in a lighter ROC weight class than its predecessors and features an advanced multi-function valve, slide-up overhead front door and easy on/off self-leveling function. It also features an Advanced Multifunction Valve (AMV) for smooth operation when using simultaneous functions, such as auxiliary, boom and bucket circuits. It has a wide working range with 2,100 pounds ROC at 35 percent or 3,000 pounds at 50 percent tip, a reach of 34.9 inches and a hinge pin height of 118.5 inches.

Cat 257 D compact track loader

Compact track loader line
Caterpillar offers five Cat D Series compact track loaders and three multi-terrain loaders with designs that enhance operator comfort and control, a lift arm design for improved sight lines and increased engine performance for greater productivity. They range in rated operating capacity (50 percent of tipping load) from 2,800 to 4,650 pounds. The mid-size frame models, as narrow as 66 inches, are the 257D multi-terrain loader (MTL) and 259D compact track loader (CTL). Larger frame models are the 277D and 287D MTLs and the 279D and 289D CTLs. They all feature an electronically controlled 3.3-liter engine that meets Tier 4 Final (Stage IIIB) emissions standards. The Cat C3.3B engine provides 74 horsepower with 8 percent more torque and 6 percent improved fuel economy than previous models.

Gehl RT105 compact track loader

Smallest compact track loader
The Gehl RT105 track loader that Manitou sources report is the most compact in the market yet still delivers a rated operating capacity of 1,050 pounds. It can can work on the tightest jobsites with an overall width of 50.8 inches and height of 71.5 inches. It is easy to transport at 4,720 pounds. The engine is a 35 horsepower Yanmar engine with 80 foot-pounds of torque and a diesel particulate filter exhaust system saves on maintenance and the environment. The RT105 track loader design relies heavily on the R105 skid loader chassis for parts parts commonality, which is a cost savings for those who own both models. The unit features Gehl’s patented IdealTrax track tensioning system that automatically tensions the tracks when the engine is on, eliminating the chance of over-tensioning and extending the life of the tracks up to 15 percent. Track tension is released when the engine is turned off, reducing strain on sprockets and bearings.

Takeuchi-US adds the TL6R compact track loader, an agile, compact machine that is easy to transport and features outstanding stability and performance. Powered by a Kubota 2.4 liter 65.2 horsepower engine, the TL6R features a radial-lift loader design with a maximum lift height of 9 feet 6.4 inches, and a rated operating capacity of 1,841 pounds. New Holland introduces the all-new C245, which is its largest compact track loader offering. Because of its SuperBoom design, this model can achieve 9,188 pounds of breakout force, 4,500 pounds ROC at 50 percent tip and features a hydraulic relief pressure of 3,450 psi.
