Kohler Engines is rolling out the ECH440LE engine, a modified version of its popular Kohler Command Pro EFI ECH440 with new, lower emission output. The engine significantly reduces carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) without sacrificing engine performance. Kohler’s closed-loop EFI system is specifically calibrated for low emissions. An integrated catalytic exhaust system, in combination with its closed-loop system, helps lower harmful emissions. An oxygen sensor in the engine’s muffler continuously adjusts fuel injection to optimize performance.

Kubota introduces the KX033-4, a new 3-ton class KX033-4 compact excavator. With a 24.8 gross hp. engine, it offers a breakout force of 8,138 pounds and a digging depth of 10.5 feet. A valve allows auxiliary oil to be diverted without removal of the thumb attachment, making other attachments easier to use. It is equipped with many comfort enhancements, including a roomier cab, large entrance, increased legroom, digital panel and enhanced ergonomics to reduce operator fatigue on the job.
