Bobcat Company adds Bobcat of Independence County as an authorized new and used sales, service and parts provider of Bobcat equipment in Batesville/Southside, Arkansas.
For more than 40 years, owner Steve Merritt has been providing customers with a diverse inventory of equipment, including rental services, at Merritt Equipment Co. The business started in 1973 and Venture Equipment, LLC opened in 2006. A growing economy paired with a dedication to serve loyal customers in north-central Arkansas led Merritt to open an additional dealership, Bobcat of Independence County.
“We have a rich history in the light construction equipment business and loyal customers in the area,” Merritt says. “Bobcat is a marquee product line that has few, if any, gaps in its lineup. Customers have different needs and we’ll have the opportunity to serve them with options that other brands simply don’t have.”
