For contractors and rental companies, moving compact equipment is a regular part of the day to day. Skid loaders, mini-excavators and other small machines may change hands multiple times a day, making the trailer an important part of the equipment equation. When loading is easy, the job moves faster and more efficiently.
Drop-deck trailers are designed around that reality. With the deck positioned between the wheels, they provide a lower deck height and reduced loading angle, helpful when moving compact equipment on and off the trailer. Ladder-style ramps offer a familiar, straightforward way to handle loading and unloading, making the Drop-Deck a versatile option for contractors and rental fleets moving a variety of small machines.
For operations where speed and simplicity are priorities, a Drop-Deck Tilt takes a different approach. Rather than working with ramps, the deck tilts to create a drive-on, drive-off loading experience. There’s no ramp to position or put away; operators simply tilt the deck, load the equipment and get moving.
That can be particularly useful where equipment may be loaded and unloaded frequently throughout the day, as well as small contractors who are often handling equipment moves themselves.
