Deutz acquisition
Deutz acquires G & T Truck Repair, further expanding service capabilities.
G & T Truck Repair is a respected full-service commercial truck, cargo tanker and equipment repair provider servicing Northern California and Western Nevada. The transaction closed today, June 1, 2026.
The acquisition strengthens Deutz’s ability to support customers with expanded service capabilities, increased regional coverage, and enhanced commercial vehicle and equipment repair expertise across a strategically important western market.
Under the agreement, Deutz Corporation will continue to operate the G & T Truck Repair brand from its current location, maintaining the company’s strong reputation for inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services supporting commercial trucks, cargo tank motor vehicles, aerial, hydraulic and light equipment.
Founded in 2008 by George Boeger, G & T Truck Repair has grown from a small independent operation into a trusted regional service provider known for its technical expertise, customer commitment, and strong operational reputations throughout the industry. Today, the company operates with a skilled team of technicians, service specialists, and support personnel dedicated to helping customers keep their equipment operating safely and efficiently.
“This acquisition represents an exciting next chapter for G & T Truck Repair,” says George Boeger, founder of G&T Truck Repair. “Deutz shares our commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and supporting customers the right way. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing to grow together.”
By combining G&T Truck Repairs’ established customer relationships and technical expertise with the broader DEUTZ service organization, DEUTZ is further strengthening its ability to deliver comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and field service solutions across the western United States.
“G & T Truck Repair is a strong addition to the Deutz service network and aligns with our long-term growth strategy across the U.S. market,” says Spencer McHugh, head of Americas, BU Service. “G & T’s technical expertise, customer relationships, and service capabilities strengthen our own ability to support customers across commercial vehicle and equipment service markets while continuing to expand the reach, scale, and capabilities of our service organization.”
The acquisition further expands Deutz’s growing service footprint across North America and reinforces the company’s continued investment in building a stronger, more connected service network focused on delivering long-term customer support, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
