2026 Top Gun Equipment Winners
Peer Executive Groups (PEG) has named the winners of its 2026 Equipment Rental Top Gun Awards.
The Top Gun award recognizes equipment rental operators who receive the PEG Pinnacle Award for Financial Excellence. The awards are given to the top 25 percent of rental stores in the network based on financials submitted by rental operators and verified by Peer Executive Groups. This is the eighth year that PEG has named companies for this prestigious award.
“We apply owner compensation, expense, and rent tests to verify EBITDA and check financial reports and tax returns where appropriate. While our network shows EBITDA performance closer to 26 percent, our Equipment Rental Top Gun members average north of 42 percent”, says Dan Crowley, PEG president. “Top Gun operators had 2.6 locations on average, doing $13.4million in sales on $30 million of fleet. In addition, while contractors are 72 percent of renters, Top Gun operators are still serving about 26 percent homeowner customers.”
