LGMG halts shipments to the U.S.
LGMG North Americahas temporarily paused shipments to the United States as it responds to evolving compliance requirements for classifying imported equipment.
“Based on the guidance available at the time, we believed we were operating in full compliance,” says Craig Paylor, President of LGMG North America. He describes the pause as a precautionary step taken while the company reviews processes and completes the additional documentation needed to meet the latest standards to resume operations.
“As I assured our customers and team this week, our commitment to the North American market is unwavering,” Paylor says. Investments they’ve made in the region over the last three years include a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico and new corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. “We’re not going anywhere,” Paylor says.
Stakeholders can expect regular updates from LGMG North America throughout this period and beyond, as they keep transparency and reliability at the center of their approach.
