The Hyundai HX35AZ, HX40A and HX48AZ excavators feature low-emission engines that are Tier 4 Final-compliant. The Hyundai HX35AZ excavator is powered by a Kubota D1703 diesel engine with a net power rating of 24.8 horsepower, while the HX40A and HX48AZ feature Yanmar 4TNV88C engines, rated at 37.4 horsdepower.
The HX35AZ has an operating weight of 8,300 pounds, dig depth of 9 feet 8 inches and bucket breakout force of 7,081 pounds. The HX40A has an operating weight of 9,479 pounds, dig depth of 11 feet 2 inches and bucket breakout force of 9,846 pounds. The HX48AZ has an operating weight of 10,912 pounds, dig depth of 11 feet 5 inches and bucket breakout force of 8,223 pounds.
The new Hyundai compact excavator models are covered by the industry-leading Hyundai standard warranty of three years or 3,000 hours plus a five-year, 10,000-hour structural warranty, with optional Hyundai extended warranties. All three models also come with five years’ free use of Hi MATE, Hyundai’s proprietary remote management system that allows 24/7 global tracking and monitoring of engine, hydraulics, electrical systems and other key components to facilitate preventive maintenance and reduce downtime.
