The Cat 18-volt drill-driver’s high-efficiency brushless motor features electronically controlled power distribution that increases battery run time vs. standard brushed motors. Itdelivers 25 percent more power, provides 50 percent longer runtime and adds 10 times longer life.
The 18-volt drill weighs 4.2 pounds. It’s outfitted with two Cat 18-volt 2.0Ah MAX lithium batteries and a 4-amp 30-minute charger to increase job site productivity and reduce downtime. The batteries are compatible with other Cat 18-volt power tools for cost savings and convenience.
The drill’s ratcheting, all-metal, ½-inch chuck provides durability and superior bit retention without slippage. Its ratcheting capability enables the user to hand-tighten bits for rapid bit changes.
The brushless drill-driver features all-metal gears for dependable performance. Its variable, two-speed gearbox delivers no-load speeds of 0-500 and 0-2000 rpm. Its clutch provides 18+1 positions to adjust torque settings. The tool’s drilling capacity is 1- 5/8 inches in wood and 1/2 inches in steel.
The drill has a rubber overmold micro-texture grip for optimum comfort and control. A bright LED light illuminates the work area and continues to shine for 20 seconds once the trigger is released
