These tools can be powered by a MultiVolt 36V/18V backward-compatible battery for up to 5.0Ah of run time or by the second battery included in the kit that delivers a high-capacity 3.0Ah Lithium Ion slim pack battery for fade-free power and less weight. The hammer drill and impact driver feature optical trigger switches that communicate with the micro-processors and deliver smoother motor acceleration. Additionally, because current doesn’t flow through the triggers, they last longer, further adding to the tools’ durability.
The feel of the brushless tools in hand reflects Metabo HPT’s detailed attention to balance, grip and pressure points; making these tools extremely comfortable to use. The metal belt hooks can be adjusted to the right or left side of the tools based on the user’s preference.
The KC18DBFL2T brushless combo kit includes the DV18DBFL2T brushless hammer drill that delivers professional grade power with an impressive 620inch-pounds of turning torque. Its ½-inch ratcheting keyless chuck is all metal for maximum durability and includes carbide inserts for secure bit retention when hammering into concrete. The 22+2 stage clutch delivers 22 torque settings, a hammer setting,]and a drill setting controlled by a single aluminum clutch ring. The tool can achieve a maximum no-load speed of 0 to 1,800 rpm and a maximum impact rate of 27,000 bpm. Also, an LED light points upward from the base of the tool to better illuminate the bit tip and avoid casting shadows. Compact and lightweight at just 3.7 pounds (with the compact 3.0Ah battery), the DV18DBFL2Treduces fatigue in extended or overhead use applications.
