MGT North America has made 10 improvements to its FastMixer concrete mixer. This is the professional continuous mixer MGT produces for use with concrete, mortar and stucco. The enhancements, now available as standard features on new machines, address common job site needs, such as loading materials, controlling water flow and moving and positioning the equipment.
Greater durability and protection
A new control panel cover protects the controls against dust and other external contaminants. The improved bag tearer offers greater resistance when opening and loading bags, and the new water hose has crimped hydraulic connections for increased durability.
Improved ergonomics and easier handling
The base frame is now taller, improving ergonomics, and the handlebar has been redesigned with a better angle and a new mounting system. Extra handles help move and transport the machine, and a new grip on the distributor tube makes it easier to reposition that part.
Better material flow and water control
Optimized openings in the hopper cover improve material flow into the machine. A new ½-inch mini ball valve provides better water-flow control and lets operators adjust the water supply while mixing.
Improved electrical protection
The new FastMixer has a combined short-circuit and ground-fault protection device which is rated at 110V, 16A, and 60Hz. This new feature improves electrical protection to help lower the risk of electric shock during use.

The improvements extend the FastMixer's professional mixing capabilities by adding practical features that help contractors and rental operators with repeated loading, mixing, and handling.
