Instagrid has launched Instagrid GO, a high-performance battery unit that will provide mobile power to North American workers facing challenging power demands, while simultaneously transforming workplace safety and driving the industry net-zero push.
Global off-grid work is currently dominated by inefficient and costly fuel-powered combustion generators that produce harmful emissions and pose health risks to users. In the United States, new safety standards for portable generators have been proposed, with the State of California already confirming a ban on the sale of portable gas-powered generators, coming into effect in 2028.
Born out of Germany’s world-renowned epicenter for innovation and engineering excellence, Instagrid has developed a sustainable alternative power supply that integrates a unique award-winning architecture of stacked micro-inverters to deliver precise grid-like performance at a fraction of the size, weight and environmental cost of conventional generators. - Efficient by design – Unlike heavy traditional engine-driven generators, Instagrid GO weighs just 46 pounds and is easily transported in just one hand, allowing the user to carry the power with them wherever they go. Its additional IP44 rating means it can be used in all weather conditions, and it's protected from dust and particles.
