The Solar Panel Lifter (SPL) is engineered to work seamlessly with mini excavators and is powered by the excavator’s 12-volt charging system. With a standard lift capacity of 300 pounds, the SPL is equipped with several features that make it ideal for delicate solar panels, including captured balljoint vacuum pad connections and quick-change adapters for compatibility with various host equipment.
Soft silicone vacuum pads prevent damage to solar panels. The lifter provides 360 degrees of rotation, allowing for precise alignment during installation, while its five inches of vertical vacuum pad travel offer additional protection in case of misalignment. By eliminating the need for workers to manually lift and carry solar panels — tasks that often lead to fatigue and strain — the SPL enhances both safety and efficiency on the job site.
The SPL reduces labor requirements, promotes faster lift cycles, and offers additional user-friendly features like foldable legs for easy storage and alignment tips to keep vacuum cups parallel to panels on uneven terrain.
