MBW’s 501H ScreeDemon offers improved handling and simplified maintenance.

MBW’s 501H ScreeDemon vibratory wet screed combines operator comfort with practical updates to lifting, cleanup and bar attachment, offering rental centers a concrete placement tool designed for straightforward operation and upkeep.

Powered by a Honda GX35 four-stroke engine, the 501H helps contractors strike off freshly placed concrete while delivering vibration through the screed. Its vibration isolation system reduces vibration transferred to the operator’s hands and arms while maintaining control of the machine.

The updated design includes a taller central lifting handle for repositioning on the slab and an additional front lifting handle for loading and transport. A conveniently positioned kickstand allows operators to set the unit upright between uses.

A die-cast, e-coated aluminum frame improves durability and simplifies cleanup compared with the previous model. The improved bar clamp provides a more secure connection, while the ScreeDemon’s clamp-on design eliminates the need for bolts passing through the screed bar. Rental staff and contractors can quickly separate the power unit and bar for cleaning, transportation and storage.

The ScreeDemon’s rigid magnesium bar features back-to-back triangular construction to help distribute vibration consistently along its length. Its sealed exciter requires no routine greasing, reducing maintenance tasks between rentals.

For rental centers, the 501H brings together features that support equipment preparation between customers and ease of use on the jobsite. For contractors, those same features mean convenient setup, manageable handling and consistent screeding performance.
