Micro aerial work platform

MEC Micro19 aerial work platform features fixed rails that fits through doorways.

MEC Aerial Work Platforms has updated its industry-leading Micro19 model.

MEC AWP Micro series
MEC Micro19 aerial work platform features fixed rails that fits through doorways.

This new model delivers jobsite ease of use with fixed rails that fit through standard doorways and lower stowed platform height entry and exit. The micro slab scissor lift has reduced the overall height to 78.5 inches to meet the taller guardrail regulation of 43.3 inches. Its compact footprint makes it easier to get in tight places and reduces the risk of damage to finished walls and door frames.

“MEC stays true to our mission of A Better Solution in everything we do and there’s nothing simpler than fixed guardrails that need no folding at all when transitioning between rooms. Now there is a machine that has the Micro footprint the industry has come to specify by choice with the simplicity of fixed guardrails,” says Gary Crook, vice president of engineering at MEC.

The same lower overall height and stowed platform height dimensions that the Micro19 offers are also available in the Micro19-XD model with MEC’s patent-pending Xtra-Deck innovation for extra height in confined overhead spaces.

The patent-pending Leak Containment System option is available on both models for jobsite productivity and safety. Both models with fixed guardrails are in production.
