The KOBELCO SK380 delivers unmatched power and performance while minimizing fuel consumption. Popular on urban jobsites, this model features a compact design and long digging reach to provide easy maneuverability and a broad working range. And with top-class digging depths of 22 feet 11 inches as well as impressive swing speeds, the SK380 delivers short cycle times thus increasing productivity.
This machine has a digging force up to 46,800 pounds and a maximum digging reach of 35 feet 10 inches. With performance and power capabilities the SK380 delivers more reach, lift capacity, digging depth, breakout force, and swing torque to complete tasks ranging from street repairs, site development, landscaping, and underground utilities.
The proprietary Kobelco intelligent control system is showcased on the SK380, ensuring smooth engagement and disengagement across all machine functions. Equipped with a 265hp Isuzu Tier IV Final engine, the Kobelco SK380 delivers full-size power and superior efficiency. This engine is fitted with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and an SCR device to control emissions without using a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
When it comes to machine maintenance and comfort, the SK380 offers intuitive operation and comprehensive safety. Easy access to the cooling unit, engine compartment, and electrical components ensure convenient day-to-day maintenance. The SK380 boast various cab features including an optimized control layout, wide access doors, powerful air conditioner, heated air ride suspension seat, ergonomic lever angles, LED interior lights, tilting left side console, and an adjustable suspension seat. Furthermore, windows on all sides, as well as a rear view, right, and left-side cameras provide excellent visibility to ensure safe operation.
