The RT16Y trench roller is powered by a Yanmar 20 horsepower three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, with an 8-gallon fuel capacity. It produces a centrifugal force of 15,300 pounds that can break through challenging soil conditions for precise and effective compaction results. It has an industry-leading maximum gradeability of 50 percent, enabling it to navigate uneven terrains with ease.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art radio remote control, the RT16Y offers remote start capabilities and throttle control, allowing operators to manage the machine safely and effortlessly from a distance. The machine comes with a tip-over sensor with a reset function, and heavy-duty steel hoods to reduce or prevent damage.
It has two swappable batteries so operators can maximize uptime by seamlessly switching between power sources. The onboard remote charger, wall charger, and USB charger ensure convenient battery management.
The RT16Y features standard drum extensions that take drum width from 23.5 inches to 33.5 inches. With sealed drums, it optimizes trenching precision while minimizing environmental impact.
It has an adjustable low/high vibration setting to optimize compaction results.
