Most 45-foot electric boom lifts have low ground clearance and two-wheel drive, limiting them to indoor warehousing and slab applications. The JCB A45E have taken the best features of the compact electric boom such as zero emissions, low noise and built them into a conventional 4WD platform to increase the flexibility of applications for which the machine can be used.
As a result of the larger 4WD platform, the JCB A45E has an increased platform capacity of 660 pounds, proportional joysticks with a potentiometer and even a platform control display showing live load utilization, error codes and other important operator information. It also features JCB's patented known-load calibration process.
From a rental perspective, the A45E emphasizes long-term fleet value. Industry-standard components simplify maintenance and integration into mixed fleets, while optional LiveLink telematics helps rental centers monitor machine location, utilization and maintenance needs.
