Micro scissor lift accessories

Optional Genie accessories include the Lift Tools integrated access deck and Lift Guard zone lighting.

As demand continues to grow for compact access equipment for work in data centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and commercial interiors, Genie is expanding the capabilities of its GS micro scissor lifts with new accessories designed to improve productivity and jobsite awareness.

Lift Tools integrated access deck
Genie’s GS-1432m and GS-1932m micro scissors are a safe alternative to ladders and a more productive alternative to vertical mast lifts. They also are well-suited for jobs that normally use a standard 14- or 19-foot scissor lift. However, certain applications still require operators to reach above their head while working at height into areas that are less accessible.

The Genie Lift Tools integrated access deck increases productivity safely in data centers and other low-level job sites for tasks including HVAC, electric, plumbing and general facilities maintenance and any other job where operators need to reach into tight overhead spaces. In response to customer demand, the integrated access deck also offers a 360-degree protective rail for further operator protection.

When not in use, the integrated access deck can easily be lowered and stowed away to give the operator more platform workspace.

The integrated access deck, which offers an additional 10.5 inches of height, is available as a factory install on new Genie GS-1932m and GS-1432m micro scissor lifts. The original access deck kit, which provides fleet owners the flexibility to move the access deck to another machine, remains available as an aftermarket accessory for rental companies seeking to offer accessories as add-on rental options.

Lift Guard zone lighting
Genie Lift Guard zone lighting improves awareness of the perimeter around the scissor lift by projecting red laser lights that create a visual boundary at ground level around the scissor lift approximately 2 to 3 feet from the edge of the chassis.

The bright beam is visible in any indoor lighting condition. The light uses a glass lens that will not fade over time, unlike plastic LED lights. This helps operators see the perimeter clearance and signals nearby workers that they may be entering the scissor lift’s work zone. Installation is simple, and both the lights and harness routing are protected by brackets to prevent damage from falling objects. Lift Guard zone lighting is compatible with many models of Genie GS slab scissor lifts, including GS micro scissor lifts, and GR Runabout models.
