The Easy RFID Pro system is designed specifically for equipment rental businesses to eliminate incorrect truck loads, locate equipment quickly, track equipment locations, increase overall warehouse productivity, and prevent loss of valuable assets.
Version 5 builds on an already successful platform of features designed for equipment rental companies. Version 5, along with dozens of other updates, now adds the ability to GPS-locate the last known locations of equipment upon delivery or return to your location.
“While passive RFID tags cannot offer real-time tracking of moving assets because they have no battery, we can now grab the known GPS location at the time of scan and associate it with that rental contract. This data is not only available on our mobile devices but to any administrator logged into the Cloud console. This feature will allow companies to better keep track of their equipment to prevent loss, log delivery times, and pinpoint the exact location of delivery. For example, if you deliver equipment to a large university campus, now the entire team knows exactly where that equipment was dropped,” says Darren Morizet, president at Easy RFID Pro.
