The KM180 Tele will provide rental stores, green industry professionals, construction, and agricultural companies a compact, light-weight telescopic loader with skidsteer quick-attach mount plate, says Chris Sleurink, owner of Intrepid Loaders USA. "This allows customers to use their current attachments on the KM180, without having to purchase new attachments."
The Intrepid KM180 Tele i compact wheel loader weighs 5000 pounds and has a rated lift capacity of 2,535 pounds. Featuring a 43 horsepower Yanmar engine and four independent hydraulic wheel motors, the loader has plenty of torque to simultaneously lift and carry heavy loads, even uphill. Its compact size, 10.6 feet long and 59 inches wide, allows for easy transport between job sites.
With a telescopic boom, the loader can load materials up to 10.8 feet high. “The telescopic boom is not just about lifting higher; it's also about being able to push and pull materials or reach into a trailer or over a fence.” Uniquely, the operator sits on top of the engine so there is no engine compartment behind operator that causes the rear end to swing out when articulating significantly improving operator visibility to the rear of the machine.
Dual wheels
To meet demands from operators running articulating loaders on rough and uneven terrain, the KM180 Tele model offers a dual wheel system that places two wheels on each front hub, increasing the width of the loader to 75 inches which significantly improves stability and decreases machine footprint.
