Versatility and maneuverability
An articulating design allows the wheel loader to pivot in the middle, ensuring excellent maneuverability and versatility. The DL220-7 features a standard Z-bar lift arm linkage ideal for digging and heavy lifting; a high-lift option is available for extra dump height and reach when loading high-sided trucks and hoppers. For improved stability and reduced material loss during travel, Ride Control comes standard.
To ensure reliability in debris-filled environments, the machine features wider radiator fin spacing to help minimize material buildup. The wheel loader operator can activate a standard reversible fan to clear dust and dirt without leaving the cab, keeping the machine running longer.
An optional quick coupler allows users to change non-hydraulic attachments without leaving their seat. Operators can seamlessly transition from a heavy-duty pallet fork to a general-purpose material bucket, keeping the machine productive throughout the day.
Advanced operator comfort and visibility
The DL220-7 has a roomy cab with intuitive controls and the Develon Smart Touch screen. Visibility is significantly enhanced by a full-glass door, larger mirrors and the exclusive Transparent Bucket 2.0 technology, which now also has AI-powered Object Detection. It detects objects including people to provide enhanced safety and alerts the operator of real-time hazards. All-day comfort is further supported by an upgraded heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and the Develon Smart Guidance System, which provides tips for efficient operation.
Three power modes and automatic transmission settings shift gears to maximize efficiency, while auto idle and auto shutdown features help save fuel and minimize wear.
The MY DEVELON fleet management (telematics) system provides real-time data to help manage maintenance and reduce operating costs via a mobile app or a website.
