It’s part of the next-generation -7 Series mini excavator lineup, offering impressive features such as fast cycle times, efficient torque-limiting piston pumps that respond to load demands, and a larger counterweight for improved balance.
The DX42-7 improves productivity through exceptional maneuverability and attachment integration. An optional four-way swing blade enables optimal positioning for backfilling, saving time by reducing the need for machine repositioning. Operators can tilt the mini excavator blade left or right and angle the dirt exactly where it needs to go.
The thumb-ready arm has integrated mounts to eliminate the need for welding when adding attachments. A pre-installed hydraulic piping is ready for a quick-attach coupling for fast attachment changes. Operators can easily toggle between ISO and BHL control lever patterns to suit their preference.
Its spacious, ergonomic workspace is available as an open canopy or enclosed cab configuration. Enclosed models feature standard heating, ventilation and air conditioning with an advanced airflow system for long-duration comfort, plus Bluetooth audio. Auxiliary hydraulic functions and boom swing are controlled via thumb switches on the right joystick, eliminating foot pedals and simplifying fine adjustments.
