Genie micro scissors are a safe alternative to ladders and a more productive alternative to vertical mast lifts. They also are well suited for jobs where you might normally use a standard 14- or 19-foot scissor lift. Field test data shows that 95 percent of the time, operators using a 19 foot scissor lift stay below 15 feet when working.
Front-wheel drive with a zero degree inside turning radius enables good maneuverability in tight spaces. They are compact enough to drive through doorways with standard fixed guardrails, and lightweight enough to be transported in standard elevators.
The GS-1932m and GS-1432m micro scissors feature Genie’s fully-sealed and maintenance-free AC electric drive. Genie E-Drive helps reduce the total cost of ownership while boosting productivity. E-Drive is four times more efficient than traditional hydraulic drive, which benefits runtime. The efficiency of AC drive motors also contributes to lower maintenance and repair costs, compared with a machine with a DC motor.
The GS-1432m weighs less than 2,000 pounds and is rated for indoor and outdoor use. With a maximum indoor platform height of 14 feet 1 inch and a maximum outdoor platform height of 12 feet, the GS-1432m is tall enough to meet the needs of many applications currently using a 19 foot scissor lift.
The GS-1932m measures 32 inches wide by 55 inches long and is only 79 incall tall when stowed. With a full-width platform size and a weight of just 2,600 pounds, the GS-1932m is well suited for a wide range of tasks that traditional scissor lifts perform, while also offering the opportunity to reach job sites out of reach for standard-sized scissor lifts as a result of its light weight.
With a 500-pound capacity, the micro scissors are rated for two workers and feature a 32 inch wide platform and 2 foot extension deck, ensuring unobstructed access to work locations.
