The GMH04 features Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), which is an internal counterbalance system along with vibration-absorbing handles that work together to reduce up to 30 percent less overall vibration, sources report. It also features auto-start wireless aystem (AWS) which utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on/off communication between tool and dust extractor. It also features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh conditions.
Convenience features include the "soft no-load" function which automatically reduces the speed of the motor when idling to help increase tool life and performance. There are built- in dual LED lights with an independent on/off switch for illumination of the work area. For dust extraction, Makita offers an optional Dust Attachment Kit.
