While soil conditioners are most often used to prepare new construction for hydroseeding, many see added uses outside of lawn preparation. Customers with existing gravel parking lots and roadways need to smooth out potholes and compact driveways over time usually add new class 5 and gravel to do so. A robust soil conditioner ends the need for added material and is much faster than the traditional approach.
Using the soil conditioner to agitate the existing compacted material can level the driveway while excess material is carried along from high spots to fill in low spots. Adjusting the front wheels can also help re-shape the crown on a roadway to help shed the water that causes potholes and washouts.
