Rotair introduces the new D185T4F EPA Tier 4 Final portable air compressor.
The Rotair D185T4F is the first EPA Tier 4 Final portable air compressor to be designed by rental professionals in the U.S. for the North American rental market. The compressor does not require Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) after-treatment to achieve EPA Tier 4 Final compliance.
No DPF system means lower initial cost and less maintenance. In fact, the new Rotair D185T4F costs thousands less than the typical 185 CFM EPA Tier 4 Final portable compressor, yet offers top performance.
The key is the new Kohler/Lombardini KDI diesel engine, the first diesel engine in the sub-50 hp range to be designed from the ground up to meet the stringent new EPA Tier 4 Final covenants.
The new D185T4F, and it’s companion model, the Tier 4 Interim D185T4I, are “rental ready,” with features that are designed to increase rental revenues and decrease maintenance, while keeping rental customers coming back.
Highlights include curbside controls for operator safety, low-speed air ends with five-year, unlimited-hour warranties and galvanized, Flex-Edge fenders that combine the strength of steel and resilience of composite materials.
