Welcome: What a difference a year makes

This is the time to be reinforcing the idea that renting can be a very viable way for customers to reduce costs and headaches.

It was a little more than a year ago that all of our lives changed dramatically. I was at Con Expo in Las Vegas when the world changed. The buzz was about COVID and few facts but plenty or rumors and speculation abounded. Multi-national companies, with acres-sized exhibits, pulled employees from their Las Vegas lots. The exodus was so immediate that the international event was even called off early.

Life in the business world changed. Online meetings replaced day-to-day, face-to-face work encounters. Work slowed as company and government leaders pondered the next steps. The economy passed out briefly, stymying Q2 and Q3 performance. We all hunkered down. the only thing that garnered more interest was a presidential campaign and election that was at times, hilarious, and other times, disgusting.

Most everyone I know has lost someone to COVID-related causes.

But, we made it. At this writing, more and more of the population is getting a chance to roll up its sleeve and get vaccinated. Business concerns are turning to supply chain issues that developed early on in the pandemic and all businesses are feeling the effects of material shortages. Equipment and supplies are tight.

This is the time to be reinforcing the idea that renting can be a very viable way for customers to reduce costs and headaches. As construction material costs climb, contractors can trim their operating budgets by relying on their local rental center for equipment.

Let’s get positioned for a fast ride ahead!
