Sneak peek: DeWalt cordless concrete cut-off saw
The DCS690 9-inch cordless saw can cut up to 3 1/4 inches deep.
Stanley Black & Decker gave attendees at the STAFDA convention and trade show in Austin, Texas, last week a sneak peek at its coming cordless powered FlexVolt concrete cut-off saw.

Powered by the DeWalt 20-/60-volt Max FlexVolt system, the 9-inch diamond-blade saw that will cut up to 3 1/4 inches deep without the hassle and fumes of a two-cycle engine, making it usable for cutting inside enclosures. It also has an on-board water connection that will control silica dust at the cut.
Sources didn’t share number of cuts per charge or specific capacities of the tool, but did report it will be introduced at World of Concrete 2018 and widely available in Spring, 2018.
