New skid steer models

JCB is launching two new wheeled skid steer loaders: the 210 radial-lift and the 215 vertical-lift models.

The new 210 radial lift model offers a base rated operating capacity (ROC) of 2,100 lbs., while the new 215 vertical-lift model has an ROC of 2,150 lbs. The operating capacity of both models can be increased by an additional 200 lbs. to 2,300 lbs. and 2,350 lbs. respectively, with an optional, dealer-fitted suitcase-style counterweight kit.

The JCB 210 and 215 models feature 30 gpm hydraulic flow to power high-flow attachments such as brooms, planers augers and trenchers.

More power and functionality
The models’ ROC allow operators to take full advantage of the high-flow auxiliary hydraulic circuit, which delivers 30 gpm, to power a range of high-flow attachments such as cold planers, augers and trenchers.

“The 210 and 215 deliver the high-horsepower benefits of larger skid steers to operators of light-frame skid steer platforms. High-flow hydraulics allow our operators to perform more tasks more efficiently, use a greater range of attachments, and complete tasks faster,” says Tim Burnhope, JCB Chief Innovation and Growth officer.

Additionally, the new 210 and 215 are the first in JCB’s small-frame skid steer line up to be powered by the JCB by Kohler 74 hp. engine, which offers a 20 percent increase in horsepower over comparably-sized skid steers in the JCB range, yet requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF). Both machines are Stage III B/Tier 4 Final-compliant.

“The combination of more horsepower and a high-flow hydraulics system really reinforces the versatility of these incredible new skid steer machines, and expands the range of projects to which light-framed JCB skid steers can be applied. The added benefit of all that additional power is that these machines will not be required to run at full capacity all the time, which means less stress on the systems and drivetrain, resulting in more uptime,” Burnhope adds.

Proven features
The JCB 210 and 215 skid steer models feature JCB’s unique and iconic single PowerBoom design with exclusive side-door entry, resulting in unparalleled safety, 60 percent better visibility and a 46 percent larger cab than competitive models in this size class.
